In 2003, he made his television debut as Lamont Tyler on the police procedural legal drama series Law & Order: SVU. During the 2007 television season, he starred as Troy Boulet in the criminal thriller K-Ville. His role as Shea Daniels, a former gang boss whose criminal operations spanned the majority of the United States, was featured on the television series Breakout Kings from 2011 to 2012.

During the 2015 season of the mystery science-fiction series Wayward Pines, he appeared as Dr. Bauer in the episode Where Paradise is Home as Dr. Bauer. After that, he starred in the supernatural-drama series iZombie as Clive Babineaux from 2015 to 2019, with Rose McIver, Rahul Kohli, and Robert Buckley as well as other actors.
