Gurmeet Choudhary debuted on television with the Hindi TV serial Yeh Meri Life Hai in 2004 as Gurmeet.
Because of his eyes, he bagged the character of Lord Ram in NDTV Imagine’s TV serial Ramayan (2008-2009).
In 2009, he, along with his wife Debina Bonnerjee participated in the reality TV show Pati Patni Aur Woh.
In 2012, Gurmeet Choudhary participated in the season 5 of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. He had a huge crush on Madhuri Dixit and also got a great opportunity to romance her on the sets of the same show. He was also the winner of that season.
In 2013, he won the dance reality show Nach Baliye Shriman v/s Shrimati.
The same year, he, along with his wife, participated in another dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 6 where they ended up as the first runner-up.
In 2014, Gurmeet participated in the reality game TV show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi Darr Ka Blockbuster Season 5 where he ended up as the first runner-up.
He even took part in the reality show I Can Do That in the year 2015.
Gurmeet Choudhary made his Bollywood debut with the movie Koi Aap Sa in 2015.
His first Punjabi movie was Yaar Mera Rab Warga which released in the year 2013.
